Meet Jeff! He’s a super cute 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home in Hoquiam that needed a little love.
The plan:
The plan on the exterior is to take off the vinyl siding and hopefully salvage the original cedar siding underneath. We are also going to make the garage (which is falling down) into a covered carport which will give the option for more outside space or off street parking. I want to paint the house gray – pictured is SW Repose Gray with bright white trim since the surrounding homes are blues and greens.
Ideas & inspo :
Inside we are going to leave the layout mostly the same with a wider opening to the kitchen and added half bath to the laundry area. Upstairs there are three HUGE rooms and an even bigger full bath that we will split in two to make an en-suite for the master.
The home was built in 1911 so I want to keep it pretty classic with a modern twist. I’m thinking light floors with soft gray trim and soft white walls.

Main living area:
When we leveled the foundation, the original fireplace collapsed leaving a huge gap in the original flooring but giving the potential for a new layout. With some debate, we managed to squeeze the coat closet into a pantry in the kitchen and angle a fireplace for more viewing access while still being open to the dining room.
