Back in Sept we bought this cute 2 bedroom 1 bath in Hoquiam.
The tentative plan for this project was to restore the current bones in the home and make the extension in back to make a bonus space/ laundry area and master bath. That would make this home a 1100sqft with two full bedrooms, 1.75 bathrooms, & a wonderful office space with unofficial loft area.
The design focused on keeping the wainscoting and detailed trim work throughout the inside while adding modern touches with blacks, whites, and warm wood tones.
Paint colors used:
The exterior color is SW Urban Bronze with SW Alabaster trim and custom wood stain on deck and doors.
Inside we used SW Alabaster on the walls and SW Worldly Gray trim
Flooring is Anniston Oak by Traffic Master
For the kitchen we used some remnant tile from our 2nd St Project as a backsplash mixed with some bright white kitchen cabinets, floating shelves, and matte black fixtures.
One of the biggest bonuses we added to the home was an additional 3/4 bath in the master. The room originally had a door entering into the kitchen and from the hall but by closing that off we gained more room space and cabinetry in the kitchen.
The second bath layout kept its original layout with some fun tilework and fun navy vanity.
The last little bonus space we added was originally the laundry area and we repurposed into an office/ playroom with extra storage in the loft.
